A Huge Beauty Haul!

So I’ve recently gotten a new job, and I’ve been earning a lot more money than I’m used to, which means one thing, and one thing only… Beauty Shopping!

When transferring from my old job to my new job, I went through a phase of getting paid from both, and having never seen so much money in my account at one time, I ended up spending a lot on beauty products…

My first stop for my shopping spree was Colour Pop. I’ve wanted to try Colour Pop for SO long, but knowing I would be graced with a huge custom fee slip I’ve always stopped myself from ordering. Recently I tried a friends highlighter from the brand and completely fell in love with it, and it was that, that inspired me to do an order finally.

So the first thing in my basket was said Highlighter- The Super Shock Highlighter in the shade Flexitarian. This highlighter is gorgeous! Its a beautiful champagne shade, that suits my skin tone so well. The texture of it is so interesting too! Its like a hybrid of a cream and a powder. Its so smooth and silky and look so beautiful on the skin.

I also picked up the Give It To Me Straight eyeshadow palette, which is beautiful! Its a warm toned neutral palette and the shades are so pigmented and creamy! Its my current go-to palette! I also wanted to try one of the individual shadows, so I got the shade Sequin, which is a rusty, glitter shade, and its BEAUTIFUL!

The last few bits I got are the Brow Boss Pencil in Dark Brown, the Creme Gel Eyeliner in HoneyDude, Two Lippie Pencils in BFF and Clique, A Lippie Stix in Brink and the Concealer in Fair 02.

I absolutely LOVE everything I got, and I wish I’d done an order ages ago!

I haven’t bought any brushes in ages, and I defiantly needed some new eye ones in my collection. I have a couple of face brushes from Spectrum which I love so I decided to pick up some eye ones! I got the You Look Marbleous 8 Piece eye set, and I absolutely love them! They’re so soft, and they look so chic! Would definitely recommend!

Feel Unique were having a really good deal, and I was in desperate need of some new skincare, so I grabbed a few bits! The deal  was spend £80 on Skincare and get £90 worth for free, so of course I spent £80! I picked up the Antipodes Manuka Honey Mask. I’ve had this before and loved it, so this was a great repurchase for me. I’ve wanted to try The Ordinary Lactic Acid for SO LONG, so I finally got my hands on it, and it hasn’t disappointed yet! My skin is looking incredible since using it! I also got the Kiehls Glow Formula Skin Hydrator, which is honestly Incredible! I’ve been skipping out on foundation so much recently because of this. Its gives my skin a gorgeous, tinted glow, that makes me look so healthy. Absolutely love it!

My favourite thing from this order has the be the Nugg Mermaid Marine Peel Off Mask. This is a super thick mask, that dries down to a rubber like texture. Its super cool, and it feels really tingly and fresh on the skin which was so relaxing. My skin felt incredible after using this and I need a life times supply of them ASAP!

My last purchase was defiantly an impulse buy, and was heavily encouraged by a friend, but I definitely do not regret it! The Luna Beauty- Life’s A Drag palette was released on Beauty Bay and I couldn’t not get it! I’m a sucker for a versatile palette and this one has such a good mix of neutral and fun colours. The shades are gorgeous and creamy, and those two shimmers are INSANE! Also can we take a moment to appreciate how MASSIVE this palette! The pans are huge, and its such heavy, luxurious feeling palette. Absolutely LOVE.

I think I’m all spent out on Beauty Products for the next LONG while!

A Little Haul.

I got a little spendy this month and treated myself to some new makeup and clothing bits.

I went on holiday this month and as we were flying from Manchester we decided to spend the afternoon before shopping at the Trafford Centre. I’ve wanted the Urban Decay Naked Heat palette since it first came out so when I saw it in stock in Selfridges I had to get it! The colours are absolutely gorgeous and I can’t wait to have a play with this! Keep an eye out for a review coming soon!

I always find myself splurging on some beauty bits when at the airport. Those Duty Free counters always pull me in! I came out of Duty Free with yet ANOTHER Urban Decay Palette, this one being the original Naked Palette. I’ve wanted this one for so long and I nearly have the completed collection now. I’ve loved pairing this one with the Naked Heat, as I find quite a lot of the shades complement each other well.

The last makeup bit I picked up was the Benefit They’re Real mascara. This is a firm favourite in my collection and is one I haven’t had for a long time, so I’m excited to start using it again.

Moving onto the clothing items I’ve picked up. I’m super excited for Autumn, and I love buying Autumnal clothing. I picked up a basic stripped t-shirt from Zara, that is quite loose fitting and so comfortable. I’ll definitely be picking up a few more of these in different colours as they are perfect to wear casually during the Autumn.

The last item I bought is this gorgeous dusky pink, suede jacket from New Look. I absolutely love this jacket. It fits perfectly and is fairly light weight, so can be worn alone or layered up when it gets colder out. This was also available in a few other shades and I’m definitely thinking of purchasing it in grey and mustard too.
